The idea of forming a company to formulate and market petfood took shape in 1995, the year in which th petfood market made headline news as one of the most active and fastest-developing sectors in animal business.

As with all sectors at moments of fast growth, it was encouraged by myriads of companies who in a direct (production) or indirect (imports and/or marketing) way, invested in the sector. Among other things, this led to a widespread lack of competence and professionalism. We preferred to invest in quality and research in order to guarantee a future in the market for the company through gradual growth and continuous monitoring. For this reason the company was not founded until 2002 after much thought and research had been devoted to the products to put on the market.
